Elevation Capital

Elevation Capital had genuinely useful findings about how Indian startups are using AI, and a PDF almost nobody was going to finish. The report was rebuilt as a site where the numbers are the interface, so the research gets read instead of downloaded.

(About)

Research does not travel as a document, it travels as something you can move through.

A fund publishes research to be quoted. The people who do the quoting are founders and operators reading on a phone between two meetings, and a PDF is a format that assumes a desk and a free hour.

So the findings were treated as the product rather than as the contents of one. Nothing here is a chart dropped into a page; the page is the chart, and the argument is the thing you scroll through.

(Challenge)

The State of AI Adoption in Indian Startups is research worth reading, and research usually ships as a PDF that almost nobody finishes.

The findings are the whole point. 86% of founders plan to increase AI spending, 85% of engineering teams have already moved AI into production, and productivity has become the proving ground. Buried in a forty-page document, none of that lands.

The people it is written for read on a phone between meetings. A report asks them for a sitting they are never going to give it.

(Solution)

Rebuild the report as a site, so the numbers are the interface rather than illustrations sitting inside it. Each finding gets its own moment on screen, and the reader arrives at the conclusion by moving through it.

Built natively in Framer with live data visualisations and motion, which keeps every chart readable on a phone.

And keeps it current. The team can publish an update themselves, so the research stays a live document instead of going stale two months after launch.
