(About)
graVITas '25 is VIT's techno-management fest: 250+ events, 30,000+ attendees and participants from across the globe. This is the identity built for it - logo, website, merchandise, ID cards, brochures, flyers, hoardings, certificates and the entrance gate - held together by one dark ground and a single cyan.

(Challenge)
graVITas is not one thing to design. It is 250+ events, 30,000+ attendees and participants from around the world, and every one of those needs something printed, worn, worn on a lanyard or walked through.
The pieces get made by different people at different times under different deadlines. Without one system, a fest's identity drifts between the poster and the pass and stops reading as a single event.
And the physical and the digital have opposite constraints. A hoarding is read at fifty metres, an ID card at fifty centimetres, and a website by somebody deciding in three seconds whether to register.
(Solution)
The mark carries the name inside it. graVITas sets VIT in the middle of its own word, with an orbital ring drawn around it - one form that is a wordmark, a monogram and the fest's whole idea at once.
One dark ground, one cyan. Everything - site, brochure, flyer, hoarding, pass, certificate - sits on near-black with a single electric cyan doing all the signalling, so a piece is recognisable before any of it is read.
The system is proved on the hardest surfaces, not the easiest. Six ID card variants from Chief Patron to Volunteer, a gate taken from sketch to a built structure people walk through, certificates, merchandise, hoardings and brochures.
